Conditions for awarding the Bachelor of History qualification are successful completion of a comprehensive qualification exam in history.
Programme learning outcomes
1. To know the most important facts, events and processes of the pre-written and written history of the Ukrainian people and humanity in general based on available archaeological sources. 2. Understand the context and causes of relevant historical events and use this knowledge in professional activities. 3. Know the main approaches to the study of archaeological sources in national and world history, the categorical apparatus of history, prehistory and archaeology. 4. Possess the conceptual and categorical apparatus of general history and archaeological science in particular, professionally operate with scientific terms accepted in the professional environment. 5. To be able to work with written and archaeological sources. 6. To identify relationships between processes in the past and at the present stage in the history of Ukraine and world history on the basis of archaeological sources. 7. Understand and identify differences in the interpretation of archaeological sources, views on the past of representatives of different eras and in different contexts. 8. To participate in the planning and execution of scientific research in the field of prehistory and archeology, to present the results of research, to argue the conclusions. 9. To have skills in organizing practical solutions to issues related to the protection of the cultural and archaeological heritage of Ukraine. 10. Apply modern methods in the process of popularizing prehistory and archeology, as well as carrying out various types of pedagogical activities. 11. Analyze situations taking into account the historical context and/or historical prerequisites. 12. To carry out professional communication with representatives of scientific, public, religious and national-cultural organizations and communities. 13. To understand the general and specific features of the historical development of different regions of Ukraine, Europe and the world, the factors that determine the diversity of cultures and national communities, to effectively cooperate with the bearers of various historical and cultural values. 14. To be able to accumulate and spread the best experience of professional activity. integrate achievements of other sciences to solve current problems of history, prehistory and archaeology.

Examination regulations and grading scale
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of student points is formed by the semester points received from all topics of two content modules (points received for modular control papers (in the form of tests); points received for completing individual tasks; points received for work in seminar classes, as well as points which are received for the final control work. The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The criteria for evaluating a student's answer are: • complete disclosure of the issue • the logic of presentations • use of basic and additional literature • analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions
