Learning outcomes
- the formation of undergraduate students' worldview basis for orientation in the trends of the dynamics of the functions of the Ukrainian language and the language situation in general at the current stage of the formation of the Ukrainian state;
- development of practical skills of linguistic and stylistic analysis of Ukrainian language resources by undergraduate students with in-depth study of official, business and scientific styles; independent creation of simple documents (application, autobiography, description, resume, certificate) in accordance with professional communication needs; skills of objectification of scientific information and compliance with domestic and international requirements for its mapping in various texts;
- effective use of the communicative resource of official business etiquette and methods of verbal influence in professional communication.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) to know the basic spelling norms of the modern Ukrainian literary language, the most important functions of the Ukrainian language in society;
2) to be able to analytically work with scientific literature;
3) to have elementary skills of modeling texts of various genres and styles (oral and written) in accordance with professional communicative needs and tasks.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, evaluation is carried out in accordance with the types of work and forms of control described in clause 7.1. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "enrolled". Students who did not score the minimum positive number of points (60) receive - "not enrolled". Students who scored a total of less than 60 points during the semester must prepare material on the topics for which the debt arose, in the form of writing independent and laboratory works, essays, or, if necessary, write a test.
