Learning outcomes
1.1 Know the scientific chronology, periodization and characteristics of the main stages of the new and recent history of Ukraine
1.2 To know the main trends of the historical development of Ukraine in specific historical periods
1.3 Know the most important facts, events and processes of the new and recent history of Ukraine
2.1 To be able to comprehensively consider the problem of research using relevant sources and scientific literature from the new and recent history of Ukraine
2.2 Be able to interpret information from various sources
2.3 To be able to investigate the life and activities of specific people in the context of their historical era
2.4 To be able to draw conclusions about the results of the activities of individuals, communities and structures in specific historical eras
2.5 To be able to find out the relationship between historical events, phenomena, processes and demonstrate meaningful thoughts, well-founded positions and
conclusions about them

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the historical terminological and conceptual apparatus; the nature and peculiarities of the historical process in Ukraine.
2. To be able to independently deepen one's knowledge by searching and processing new information using modern technical means; scientifically assess the role of subjective and objective factors in the historical process, events and phenomena.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student assessment is carried out in two forms: current control (work in seminar classes, test papers) and final control (exam).
The total amount of points is 100 points (of which, the current control is 60 points; the final control is 40 points).
After completing the study of each content module, the student writes a test paper. Participation of all students in the control event is mandatory. The test is conducted in written form and is completed at the last lesson of each content module of the course.
The criteria for evaluating a student's answer are:
• complete disclosure of the issue
• the logic of presentation
• use of basic and additional literature
• analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions
