1. To know the nature and peculiarities of the cultural development of Ukraine and the world.
2. To be able to independently deepen one's knowledge by searching and processing new information using modern technical means; to evaluate scientifically
the role of subjective and objective factors in the historical and cultural process, events and phenomena.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of students is carried out in two forms: current control (work in seminar classes, evaluation of independent work, control work) and final control (exam).
After completing the study of each content part, the student writes a control paper (test). Participation of all students in the control event is mandatory. The control work is conducted in the form of a written test and is performed at the last lecture (seminar) from each content part of the course.
The total amount of points is 100 points (of which, the current control is 60 points; the final control is 40 points).
Assessment criteria for separate assessment tasks:
– a deep, theoretically grounded, factual disclosure of the issue;
– theoretically grounded, sufficiently disclosed, without deep immersion in the problem;
- disclosure of the issue with factual argumentation;
- incomplete disclosure of the issue;
– coverage of a separate aspect of the issue;
- lack of answer to the question.
