Learning outcomes
Consolidate students' knowledge that they received in theoretical courses and instill the skills of practical implementation of this knowledge in their further activities. The student must learn techniques and methods of working with various archival documents, descriptions, catalogs, guides, reference books; to be able to systematize and describe archival documents, draw up documentation on their accounting, organization of storage and use. The tasks of archival practice also consist in the formation of critical and independent scientific thinking in students of the Faculty of History, the necessary practical skills and abilities of a future specialist, readiness to solve specific tasks of finding, processing and analyzing source information in professional activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: the categorical and conceptual apparatus, the history of the archival case, the main legislative and regulatory documents on the archival case.
Be able to: classify archival documents, analyze the criteria for the value of documents, determine their fund affiliation.
Possess: the method of searching and processing documents in the archive.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. The first module includes familiarization with the work of the structural divisions of the archive and the acquisition of practical archival work skills. The second content module includes the acquisition of documentation skills through diary and report writing. Evaluation of the student's success is carried out in two forms: current control (evaluation of the intern's participation in practice, as well as evaluation of the reporting documentation on the completion of the internship) and final control (evaluation of the defense of the report).

Based on the results of the internship, the student-intern prepares a report on the internship.
Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system.
Based on the results of the internship, the student-intern prepares a report on the internship. The head of the practice assesses the quality, completeness and design of reporting documentation.
During the defense of the report, the student receives 2 credit questions related to the direct content of the report. Each question is worth 10 points. The points obtained by the student during the defense of the report are added to the points obtained from the results of the current control.
The results of the internship are evaluated on a 100-point scale.
