A separate decision of the examination commission, based on professional mastery of competencies provided by special blocks of disciplines (minimum required criteria: the level of mastery of disciplines of the specialization unit with scores of at least 75 points, grade for internship at least 75 points, as well as defense with a score of at least 75 points), may be awarded the professional qualification 3111 assistant meteorologist.
Programme learning outcomes
PR01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of Earth Sciences. PR02. Use oral and written professional Ukrainian language. PR03. Communicate in a foreign language by profession. PR04. Use information technology, cartographic and geoinformation models in the field of Earth Sciences. PR05. Be able to conduct field and laboratory research. PR06. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the Earth as a planetary system and its geospheres. PR07. Apply models, methods and data of physics, chemistry, biology, ecology, mathematics, information technology, etc. in the study of natural processes of formation and development of geospheres. PR08. Justify the choice and use field and laboratory methods for the analysis of natural and anthropogenic systems and objects. PR09. Be able to perform geosphere research using quantitative methods of analysis. PR10. Analyze the composition and structure of geospheres (according to specialization) on different spatiotemporal scales. PR11. Organize and summarize materials of field and laboratory research. PR12. Know and apply theories, paradigms, concepts and principles in Earth Sciences according to specialization. PR13. Be able to communicate the results of activities to a professional audience and the general public, make presentations and messages. PR14. Participate in the development of projects and practical recommendations in the field of Earth sciences. PR15. Be able to choose the best methods and tools for research, data collection and processing.

Examination regulations and grading scale
The final evaluation of learning outcomes at the University is carried out on a single 100-point scale. The assessment of the learner corresponds to the ratio of the level of professional and general competencies established in the assessment to the planned learning outcomes (as a percentage). The minimum positive level of evaluation is 60 points. According to the results of exams, according to the results of course and diploma works (projects); according to the results of work in practice, the student is given points on the following scale: "Excellent" 90 - 100%; "Good" 75 - 89%; "Satisfactory" 60 - 74%; "Unsatisfactory" 0 - 59%. If the final exam is not conducted in the disciplines, the results of the applicant's work are evaluated on a scale: "Enrolled" 60 - 100% or "Not credited" 0 - 59%.
