Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Study of disciplines "General Earth Science", "General and historical geology"
2) Ability to analyze the relief on topographic maps, understand the relationship
geomorphological and climatic, hydrological processes, to assess the current
environmental situation on different information sections, identify the main environmental
problems and conflicts of nature use.
3) possession of skills in analyzing cartographic materials and map construction.
Course content
The content of the discipline reveals theoretical and applied issues of modern geomorphology
and paleogeography. The structure of the discipline involves the study of relief as a result of
interaction of endogenous and exogenous processes during the evolution of the Earth and the interaction of its
shells. Considerable attention is paid to modern hazardous processes and their research
different areas of applied geomorphology.
