Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the of the historical and cultural process, based on the knowledge of the school curriculum of the disciplines "History", "Man and the World", "Artistic Culture", "Ethics". ● Be able to collect and interpret information about the phenomena and phenomena of the world and culture, understand the essence of philosophical problems, topics, ideas, be able to analyze philosophical and scientific texts texts; ● Possess basic skills of perception and analysis of information; critical and forecasting of political, economic, cultural events and phenomena.
Course content
The discipline "Philosophy" is taught in the 7th semester of the of the bachelor's degree program in Meteorology. The discipline "Philosophy" provides an opportunity to introduce students to the worldview and methodological culture accumulated by mankind throughout the history of accumulated by mankind throughout the history of its existence, to show the holistic, integrative nature of knowledge about the world around us, to emphasize the fundamental importance for each person of his or her free worldview self-determination, choosing an active life position, doing good by by strengthening the state and society through their own activities. Philosophy for future specialists in geography is a worldview and, at the same time, a methodological basis on which to master humanities, general education, fundamental and applied disciplines. To a large extent, it is it is largely due to this that it makes it possible for students to go beyond narrow professional training, orientation towards universal values.
