Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastery of the disciplines of the 1-4 year of the OP "Meteorology", namely, "Meteorology", "Atmospheric thermodynamics", "Atmospheric physics", "Atmospheric chemistry", "Topography with the basics of geodesy". Atmospheric Chemistry", "Topography with the basics of geodesy", "Cartography", "General Hydrology", "General and historical geology", "Soil science with the basics of Geography of Soils", "Geomorphology and Paleogeography", "Climatology", "General atmospheric circulation", "Computer technologies and their application in meteorology", "Ecological climatology", "Physics", "Statistical methods of of meteorological data processing", "Higher mathematics", "Fundamentals of scientific Research Fundamentals, Programming in Meteorology, GIS Application in in Hydrometeorology".
Course content
Bachelor's qualification work is is an independent scientific research of a graduate student of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, which reflects the results of obtaining theoretical knowledge and practical skills in conducting research in professional direction. Writing a bachelor's thesis involves: a) collection, systematization, processing, analysis and generalization of the results obtained in the in the field of meteorological information; b) development of independent work skills (development of data search skills in published sources, electronic databases of hydrometeorological organizations of the SES of Ukraine, etc.), critical evaluation, analysis and generalization; c) development of skills in describing the materials obtained in the process of generalization. The bachelor's work involves the study of a specific scientific problem with the obligatory independent scientific research and recording of its and recording its results. The student has 150 hours of independent work to write the thesis.
