Professional mastery of competencies provided by special blocks of disciplines (minimum required criteria: the level of mastery of disciplines of the block of specializations with an average score of at least 70 points, assessment for internships with a specialization of at least 75 points, and defense of qualifying work with a score of at least 75 points .

01. Collect, process and analyze geological information in solving fundamental and applied problems. 02. Use oral and written professional Ukrainian language. 03. Communicate in a foreign language by profession. 04. Use information technology, cartographic and geoinformation models in the field of Earth sciences. 05. Be able to conduct field and laboratory geological research. 06. Determine the main geological characteristics, processes, history and composition of the Earth as a planetary system and its geospheres. 07. Apply models, methods and data of physics, chemistry, biology, ecology, mathematics, information technology, etc. in the study of geological processes and structures. 08. Justify the choice and use field and laboratory geological methods for the analysis of natural and anthropogenic systems and objects. 09. Be able to perform research on geospheres using quantitative methods of analysis. 10. Analyze the composition and internal structure of the Earth and its bowels on different spatial and temporal scales. 11. Organize and summarize materials of field and laboratory geological research, integrate them from observation to recognition, synthesis and modeling. 12. Know and apply geological theories and paradigms, concepts of development of the Earth and its geospheres. 13. Be able to convey the results of geological research to a professional audience and the general public, make presentations, prepare reports and scientific publications. 14. Participate in the development of geological projects and practical recommendations in the geological field. 15. Be able to choose the best methods and tools for geological research, collection and processing of geological data. 16. ability to use modeling technologies and model representation in mathematical and algorithmic form and to have GIS technologies and methods of planning and performing filming and computer processing of survey results in GIS environment.
