Learning outcomes
The peculiarities' organization of geological exploration companies, knowledge and practical skills of economic calculations and analysis of economic activities, development of technical and economic parts of geological projects, preparing of financial calculations, justification and choice of technical devises and methods of geological exploration as well as forms of their organization will be discussed.

Course content
The course considers the types, methods and techniques of geological investigation at different stages of the geological study of territories. The lectures and practical classes are related to exploration projects financing, organization of fieldwork and drilling, office studies and laboratory works, planning, preparation and management of exploration work.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system and consists of 8 practical works (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve problems using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher) and 2 tests. For laboratory work and tests, the student may receive a maximum of 60 points (a minimum 36). The final assessment is conducted as an exam where the maximum score is 40 points and the marginal score - 24 points.
