Know: theoretical material of the course "Drilling technology", the main modern methods and methods of drilling geological exploration wells; the main technological operations when drilling wells, technological processes carried out during the drilling of wells for oil and water. be able to: calculate the necessary parameters when drilling water wells; to classify rocks according to physical and mechanical properties; to orientate in the use of industrial explosives in drilling and blasting, to determine the parameters of clay solutions.

Course content
The coursework is the final stage of studying the course "Drilling Technology". It is an important element of the student's educational work, which should demonstrate the formation of students' knowledge of geological conditions, technical means and methodical methods of performing geological exploration works. consideration of the methods of drilling exploratory wells and the technology of performing drilling works in the search and exploration of mineral deposits; mastering basic information about drilling fluids; consideration of general data on special works in wells; study of the main production processes when drilling and equipping wells for oil, gas, and water.

Assessment methods and criteria
The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The final assessment is carried out in the form of a differentiated assessment with a maximum score of 40 points, a cut-off score of 24 points, which includes the defense of the course work in the presented presentation of materials and an assessment of the processed material by topic - 60 points. Differentiated credit is given according to the results of the student's work, as the sum (simple or weighted) of points for systematic work throughout the entire period of writing the coursework and is mandatory.
