Certification of the graduates of the educational and professional program of specialty № 035 "Philology" “ English Studies and Translation and Two Western European Languages” is conducted publicly and openly in the form of: 1) passing a complex final exam in English and literature; 2) defence of the bachelor's qualification work in English

PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with experts and non- experts in Ukrainian, English and in two Western European languages, in oral and in written form, use these languages to organize effective cross-cultural communication. PLO 2. Process information effectively: collect relevant information from a variety of sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 3. Organize own learning and self-education process. PLO 4. Understand the fundamental principles of human, nature and society genesis. PLO 5. Collaborate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, supporters of different political views, etc. PLO 6. Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and issues of professional activity. PLO 7. Understand the major issues of philology and approaches to solving those using relevant methods and innovative approaches. PLO 8. Know and understand the system of language, the general properties of literature as the art of word, the history of English and the two studied Western European languages, and literature, be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities. PLO 9. Characterize dialect and social varieties of English and two Western European languages, describe the sociolinguistic situation. PLO 10. Know the rules of standard language and be able to apply them in practice. PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of oral and written texts of different genres and styles creation in Ukrainian, English and two other Western European languages. PLO 12. Analyze language units, determine their interaction, and characterize linguistic phenomena and the underlying processes. Full-time form

Exams (written, oral, mixed form), tests, differentiated tests, current control (presentations, abstracts), defense of course work, certification (final) exams, defense of qualification (bachelor) work. Specific rules of examination are defined in the work programs of academic disciplines. The main principles of assessment policy are provided in the "Regulations on the educational process in TSNUK organization ". To maintain academic honesty, participants in the educational process are guided by the norms of the " University Community Code of Ethics".

Compulsory components are educational field social communicative and translation internships, which take place outside the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology. Social communicative internship expands students' acquaintance with the labor market, in particular, it introduces them to the activities of public organizations that provide educational, monitoring or social services, other organizations and institutions of public and private ownership, which need specialists with social communication skills. During the translation internship, students have an opportunity to get acquainted with translation activities, learn to apply knowledge about the genre and stylistic features of texts, translation difficulties and ways to solve them in practice. In the framework of internships, students learn to perform the tasks of the institution management in accordance with the requirements within the given time. Terms and types of internships are determined according to the curriculum.

Bachelor-philologist can work in scientific, literary-publishing and educational fields; in print and electronic media, PR agencies; in various funds, unions, humanitarian foundations, museums, art and cultural centers, libraries, archives etc.

Graduates have the right to continue their studies at the second level of higher education.
