Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Knowledge acquired by the students during the study of general scientific disciplines. 2) Knowledge obtained from high school in such subjects as Fundamentals of Law, etc. 3) Knowledge of theoretical, methodological and practical principles of formation, operation and regulation of entrepreneurship. 4) Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of finance; business economics; economic theory, micro- and macroeconomics. 5) Ability to assess, analyze the causes and consequences of market changes, taking into account various uncertain situations. 6) Basic skills of mathematical modelling, forecasting, mastery of methods of economic analysis, work in Excel.
Course content
The purpose of the course is to master the basic institutions of labour law, to acquire necessary competencies and initial practical skills required to organize activities in accordance with the requirements of regulatory policy and the application of labour legislation; as well as to form complex knowledge and necessary practical skills on the theoretical, economic, institutional, legal and organizational foundations of entrepreneurial activity. The course reveals constitutional principles of realization of the right to work and its basic forms. It studies legal principles of establishing and regulating basic working conditions and legal bases of labour rights protection in Ukraine. The course highlights economic nature of entrepreneurship as well as the necessity and importance of commercialization of scientific developments. It reveals technology characteristics of creating one's own business.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Forms of study include lectures, seminars, consultations and students’ self-study. Teaching methods include oral interviews (express interviews); reports, discussions, answers to questions; participation in the colloquium; solving problems in seminars; scase study; self-study ; test papers.
Assessment methods and criteria
Final score for the course constitutes a total of points for all forms of control and does not need any additional forms of assessment. Forms of the current control include the sum of marks for answering during oral interviews (express interviews) (min 12 / max 20 points); reports, answers to questions (min 8 / max 16 points); participation in the colloquium (min 3 / max 6 points); solving problems in seminars (min 7 / max 12 points); case study (min 12 / max 20 points); self-study (min 12 / max 16 points); test papers (min 6 / max 10 points). Students who did not manage to score 60 points during the term have to work for the classes and topics they missed.
