Learning outcomes
PLO 3. Organize own learning and self-education process. PLO 5. Collaborate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, supporters of different political views etc. PLO 6. Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and issues of professional activity. PLO 7. Understand the major issues of philology and approaches to solving those using relevant methods and innovative approaches. PLO 10. Know the rules of standard language and be able to apply them in practice.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of English at not lower than B2 level. 2. Ability to freely, flexibly and effectively use English orally and in writing, in different genre and style varieties and registers of communication. 3. Possession of basic skills of business and personal communication, public speaking, composition of written texts of various genres.
Course content
Educational field social communicative internship aims at mastering general competencies, i.e. the ability to communicate with representatives of different social groups, as well as to apply in business and everyday communication a wide range of knowledge of humanities. The need for discipline arises from the existing demands of the modern labor market, which requires not only professional knowledge and competencies (Hard skills), but also general, social (Soft skills). Employers primarily pay attention to teamwork skills, resilience to stressful situations, rapid adaptation to different working conditions and different teams, the ability to learn throughout life and the like. The internship significantly expands students' familiarity with the labor market, in particular, introduces them to the activities of organizations that need specialists with social communication skills.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is delivered with the help of such activities as oral reports and written tests. The teaching methods are practical classes, creative projects, students’ individual work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The course ends with a differentiated credit. Students’ performance during the term is the sum of the points accumulated as a result of the internship, which consists of the reference from the place of the internship, student’s research conducted during the internship, student’s report on the internship and the defence of the internship results. The minimum score for the internship is 60 points, while the maximum score equals 100.
