Professional qualification 2320 (Secondary School Teacher of Ukrainian Language and Literature, Foreign Language)) is awarded by examination board due to the compliance with requirements set in educational programme description.
Programme learning outcomes
PLO1. To demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge in psychology, pedagogy, fundamental and applied sciences (according to the subject specialty) in practical situations of educational activities, to deepen knowledge in the subject area.
PLO2. To demonstrate the ability to use digital educational resources, information and communication technologies for searching, processing, and sharing information in professional activities, present individual and joint results, implement distance and blended learning, etc.
PLO3. To name and describe the main principles, functions, contemporary forms, and methods of managing educational activities, demonstrate the ability to plan and manage educational activities, ensure and evaluate their quality.
PLO4. To formulate existing problems in the field of educational activities, demonstrate skills of their critical analysis, generate new ideas, argue possible ways to solve them, and critically evaluate their feasibility.
PLO5. To describe the methodology for developing educational projects, explain the their content and purpose on each stage, analyze the capacity to manage the process of their implementation, and forecast the expected outcomes.
PLO6. To define and characterize the main principles, laws, and methodologies of scientific and pedagogical research; describe the apparatus of scientific and pedagogical research, demonstrate skills in presenting the results of scientific and pedagogical research.
PLO7. To define, analyze, and characterize pedagogical innovations, demonstrate the ability to apply them in professional activities.
PLO8. To describe the quality indices of pedagogical activity, analyze the potential impact of internal and external factors, identify individual professional needs, pathways for improving one's own pedagogical mastery, and choose resources for lifelong professional development.
PLO9. To demonstrate the ability to classify, organize, and generalize educational resources in accordance with the conditions of the educational process, the needs of forming key competencies, and integrated learning.
PLO10. To name and analyze ways to motivate students toward self-development, demonstrate the ability to develop a plan of practical implementation in order to form an adequate positive self-esteem and self-identity.
PLO11. To demonstrate the ability to ensure constructive and safe interaction with participants of the educational process, and organize health-preserving conditions for teaching languages and literature.

Assessment during the semester: oral quizzes, presentations, essays, written tests, module tests, presentation of projects. Semester control: exams, credits, differentiated credits. Final assessment: defense of the qualification work, complex final exams.

Internships according to the educational program at general secondary education institutions of II-III levels: professional internship at school (Ukrainian language and literature); professional internship at school (English language)
All internships are conducted away from the workplace.
