P01. Know, understand and be able to use on practice basic concepts from the theory of physical geography, landscape ecology, as well as philosophical sciences.
P02. Know and understand the main types of geographic activities, their division in general and in particular in the field of cross-border ecological cooperation.
P03. Explain the peculiarities of the organization of geographical space depending on its physical and geographical features,features of the landscape structure.
P04. To analyze the geographical potential of the territory with taking into account its landscape structure.
P05. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of geographical sciences for the needs of cross-border,national, regional and local complex environmental projects.
P06. Use information technology,cartographic and geoinformation models in the study
landscape structure of the territory, implementation of complex environmental projects.
P07. Determine the main characteristics, processes,the history and composition of the landscape shell and its components.
P08. Apply models, methods of physics, chemistry, geology,ecology, mathematics, information technologies, etc study of natural and social processes of formation and development of landscapes and their components.
P09. Analyze the composition and structure of natural and sociospheres,which are included in the sphere of interests of cross-border, regional and local projects on different spatial and temporal scales

Conducting part of the classes on professionally oriented disciplines and practices is planned on the basis of organizations and institutions dealing with the problems of international ecological cooperation, environmental protection, development and organization of measures for rational nature use and landscape protection, territorial planning, management of nature conservation areas.
