PRN3. Explain features of the organization geographical space depending on his physical geographical features, rice landscape structures. PRN4. Analyze geographic potential territory taking into account it landscape structure. PRN7. Analyze the composition and structure of natural and sociospheres included in areas of interest cross-border, regional and local projects on different spatio-temporal scales for ensuring a successful ecological cooperation

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastery of such educational disciplines as "Soil Science", "Geology", "Geomorphology", "Meteorology", "Physical geography of continents and oceans", "Landscape science", "Comprehensive discipline. Educational practice on the basics of fieldwork natural and geographical studies. Part 5. Soil research", "Economic and social geography of the world". 2) be able to establish relationships between soils and factors of soil formation, analyze the components of the landscape as factors in the formation of the profile structure and properties soils, to have elementary skills in the analysis of various cartographic materials content
Course content
The study discipline "Land cover and land resources of the world" consists of three parts The first of them is devoted to the consideration of the existing soil classifications approved in Ukraine, USA, European countries, etc. The second part is devoted to questions global functions of soils as natural bodies, analysis of factors and features processes of soil formation in different regions of the planet and studying the structure of modern soil cover. The third part is devoted to consideration of issues that concern the general characteristics of the world's land resources, their purpose, geographical distribution, as well as features of the development of soil degradation processes in different parts world and methods of their rational use and protection.
