Learning outcomes
P010. Know the goals of sustainability development and opportunities his professional field for their achievements, including in Ukraine during implementation programs and projects cross-border ecological cooperation P012. Understand the basics environmental laws, regulations and principles of protection environment and nature management and apply their knowledge to implementation of projects cross-border ecological cooperation P014. Use management principles, on which the system is based on national and transboundary environmental security P015. Know conceptual foundations of national, European and international monitoring and rationing anthropogenic load on the environment.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
● Successful mastering of disciplines: "Fundamentals of geoecology", "Ecological problems of sustainable development", "Ecological monitoring", "Reserve case". ● To be able to analyze the features of natural and anthropogenic processes in geographical envelopes, to be able to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the state geocomponents and forecast its changes; ● To know the main features of the functioning of natural geosystems that are affected by anthropogenic activity; principles and methods ensuring sustainable development of territories; ● To know modern quantitative and qualitative methods of geographical research, to be able to use them apply in production and research activities; ● To be able to model objects and processes, using modern quantitative and qualitative methods and geoinformation technologies.
Course content
The educational discipline is aimed at deepening theoretical knowledge, formation of social and environmental responsibility in future specialists thinking and competencies, the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems, understanding the essence of environmental hazards, procedures environmental impact assessment, resource management strategies. This is educational discipline introduces students to the basic principles of global of environmental management, which are based on the principles of sustainable development, forms ability to apply basic knowledge of natural and social sciences at study of the geographical envelope and its components. It is an integral component physical geography, geomorphology and applied geoecology and also unites many other disciplines related to the relationship between man and nature. Students will be introduced to basic evaluation criteria and methods the quality of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, soil and food products, modern requirements on the organization of protection of public health and the state of the environment, implementation environmental policy at the global, regional and local levels, UN policies and international documents regarding the implementation of cleaner technologies, environmental impact assessment (EIA) strategic environmental assessment (SEO) and environmental management systems (ESM) in Ukraine.
