Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Educational practice on processing methods of geographic information", "Geographic information systems", "Geographic information technologies". 2. Know the main properties of raster geospatial data, geophysical and optical properties of landscape components. 3. Be able to give a comprehensive physical and geographical description of the territory, carry out the selection and critical analysis of informational and cartographic data data sources. 4. To know modern quantitative and qualitative methods of geographical research, to be able to use them apply in production and research activities; be able to model objects and processes using modern quantitative and qualitative methods and geo-information technologies.
Course content
Educational discipline provides study of the main theoretical principles of remote sensing of the Earth and mastering the applied aspects of using distance methods in studies of landscapes, their components, in the assessment of the ecological state and expert forecasting of their changes. The discipline is aimed at the formation of students of search skills, critical evaluation, data acquisition and analysis DZZ with the aim of solving theoretical-methodological and applied problems in the field natural geography. The functional block of the discipline involves familiarization with the main ones types and sources of DDZ, obtaining data, acquiring practical skills preliminary and thematic processing of DZZ data.
