Learning outcomes
P01. Know, understand and be able to use the basic ones in practice concepts from the theory of physical geography, landscape ecology, as well as philosophical sciences. P07. Determine the main ones characteristics, processes, history and the composition of the landscape shell and its components P09. Analyze the composition and structure natural and sociospheres included in areas of cross-border interests, regional and local projects on on different spatial and temporal scales to ensure successful environmental cooperation. P10. Know the goals of sustainable development and possibilities of their professional sphere for their achievement, including in Ukraine during the implementation of programs and cross-border projects environmental cooperation. P11. To observe moral and ethical aspects of research, honesty, professional code of conduct.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. to know the key provisions of the theoretical foundations of physical and geographical disciplines of the cycle taught during the 1st-III semesters; 2. be able to apply the principles, approaches and methods of learning physical geographical organization of territories and landscape space; 3. to possess methods of geographical analysis and synthesis, basic knowledge of mapping of territories, using methods of statistical and mathematical analysis; 4. to have tools for searching for landscape information and data c various information sources
Course content
The circle of theoretical and applied problems developed by modern landscape science, as well as on consideration of the content and approaches of its individual directions - scientific (geophysics, geochemistry, landscape aesthetics, cultural, historical, anthropogenic landscape science, etc.) and applied (landscape justification territorial planning, nature management projects, environmental expertise and audit, environmental management, etc.). Under consideration features of the state, structure, dynamics and evolution of landscape complexes, that formed on the earth's surface, both natural and anthropogenic, them the main properties, processes occurring in them, etc., as well as methods and the methodology of modern landscape studies.
