1. Collect, process and analyze information in branches of the subject area of geographical sciences for needs cross-border, national, regional and local complex
environmental projects (PRN 5)
2. To use information technology, cartographic and geoinformation models at study of landscape structure of the territory, implementation complex ecological
projects (PRN 6)
3. Analyze the composition and structure natural and sociospheres that are included in the sphere of interests cross-border, regional and local projects on different spatio-temporal scales to ensure successful ecological cooperation (PRN 9)

Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the key provisions of the theory of geographic information systems and
technologies.
2. Be able to use GIS tools.
3. To have the skills of applying statistical and stochastic mathematics
methods in geography.
Course content
The study discipline is dedicated
study: concepts of models and simulations and their classifications; foundations
stochastic modeling of the state and forecasting of the dynamics of natural sciences
geosystem; basics of geoecological model zoning; approaches to implementation
methodical-optimization and methodical-applied and model-predictive
solutions, as well as methods of thematic modeling of typical natural sciences
geosystems, in particular basin geosystems, eco-networks and coastal geotones.
The discipline is designed to form students' strategic ideas about methods
modern model-prognostic display of processes and phenomena and the state of objects in
natural geography.
