The certification of graduates of the educational and professional program of specialty No. 035 "Philology" "Modern Greek Philology and Translation and English" is conducted publicly and openly in the form of 1) passing a comprehensive final exam in the specialty; 2) defending a bachelor's thesis in Modern Greek philology
Programme learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with experts and non- experts in Ukrainian, Modern Greek and English, in oral and in written form, use these languages to organize effective cross-cultural communication. PLO 2. Process information effectively: collect relevant information from a variety of sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 3. Organize own learning and self-education process. PLO 4. Understand the fundamental principles of human, nature and society genesis. PLO 5. Collaborate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, supporters of different political views, etc. PLO 6. Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and issues of professional activity. PLO 7. Understand the major issues of philology and approaches to solving those using relevant methods and innovative approaches. PLO 8. To know and understand the language system, the general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of the Greek language and literature and be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities. PLO 9. Characterize dialect and social varieties of English and two Western European languages, describe the sociolinguistic situation. PLO 10.Know the rules of standard language and be able to apply them in practice. PLO 11. To know the principles, technologies and techniques for creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and Modern Greek and English languages. PLO 12. Analyze language units, determine their interaction, and characterize linguistic phenomena and the underlying processes. Examination regulations and grading scale
Exams (written, oral, mixed form), tests, differentiated tests, current control (presentations, abstracts), defense of course work, certification (final) exams, defense of qualification (bachelor) work. Specific rules of examination are defined in the work programs of academic disciplines. The main principles of assessment policy are provided in the "Regulations on the educational process in TSNUK organization". To maintain academic honesty, participants in the educational process are guided by the norms of the "University Community Code of Ethics".

Work placement
Students of the program must complete the internship "Social and Communication, Translation Practice", which aims to familiarize interns with the use of Greek- Ukrainian translation in the social and cultural sphere, gain experience in organizing cultural and educational events, increase the moral, cultural, scientific values and achievements of Ukrainian society, and promote deeper cooperation and mutual understanding between the Ukrainian and Greek peoples. In order to complete the internship, students must master the following complex disciplines: Theoretical and Practical Modern Greek Language Course, Practice of Translation from the Modern Greek Language, Linguistic and Regional Studies.
