Upon successful completion of the final certification, the graduate receives a document of the established sample on the award of a master's degree with the assignment of the educational qualification "teacher of a higher education institution" for the set of disciplines of the main block, as well as "literary editor" or "junior researcher (philology)" for the set of disciplines of free choice of the educational program.

PRN1. Evaluate own educational and scientific-professional activity, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement.
PRN2. Confident knowledge of state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present the results of research in state and foreign languages.
PRN3. Apply modern methods and technologies, including information, for the successful and effective implementation of professional activities and ensure the quality of research in a particular philological field.
PRN4. Assess and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and suggest ways to solve them in difficult and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting.
PRN5. Find optimal ways of effective interaction in the professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels.
PRN6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of speech and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and the organization of successful communication.
PRN7. Analyze, compare and classify different areas and schools in linguistics.
PRN8. Evaluate historical achievements and the latest achievements of literary criticism.

Examination regulations and grading scale
Certification of graduates of the educational program "Ukrainian Philology and Western European Language" specialty № 035 "Philology", specialization 035. 01 "Ukrainian language and literature" is conducted in the form of public and open defense of master's thesis, passing the final exam in Ukrainian language and literature, final exam in a foreign language (English / Spanish / German / French).
1) Protection of master's qualification work.
2) Final comprehensive exam in Ukrainian language and literature. According to the structure of the examination ticket, each type of task is evaluated by a clearly defined number of points, which in total is a maximum of 100 points.
3) The final exam in a foreign language involves establishing the level of proficiency in a foreign language (English / Spanish / German / French)).
