PLO 8. Evaluate historical achievements and the latest achievements of literary studies.
PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres (depending on
the chosen specialization).
PLO 11. Carry out scientific analysis of linguistic, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data.
PLO 15. Choose optimal research approaches and methods for analyzing specific linguistic or literary material.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering or choosing an academic discipline:
1. Successful completion of courses. The student must successfully master the literary studies disciplines of the bachelor's curriculum, in particular: "Oral Folklore", "Introduction to Literary Studies", "History of Ukrainian Literature", "History of Foreign Literature", "Ukrainian and Foreign Culture", a number of courses of the elective block.
2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of literary studies, the history of Ukrainian and world literature, basic knowledge of Ukrainian and foreign culture.
3. Possession of basic literary terminology, skills in interpreting a literary work.
4. Ability to perform individual abstract and creative tasks - write essays, reviews, reader responses, systematize literature on the chosen topic in the appropriate aspect.
Course content
The course "Intertextuality and Intermediality of Modern Ukrainian Literature" offers to get acquainted with the works of literary scholars and scholars of related disciplines who have developed and are developing the methodology of intertextual and intermedial research; to describe approaches to the analysis of a literary work within the framework of the aforementioned studies; to trace the change in optics in literary studies (from intertextual, interartistic to intermedial studies). The course is aimed at the reception of other texts, artifacts, artistic phenomena by literature, at the relationship between different artistic phenomena, at the universality of image creation by means of words, it also involves the application of modern comparative approaches to the analysis of specific literary works, the creative manner of writers and their synthetic achievements, and the latest hybrid forms of literature.

Types of work: answers to seminar classes, participation in discussions, abstract assignment, creative assignment, test.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system. The final number of points in the discipline (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account tests. The credit is issued based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment measures. The final grade in the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the points for semester work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and tests (minimum 12, maximum 20 points). Students who have scored less than 60 points in total during the semester must prepare material on the topics for which the debt arose in the form of writing independent works, creative tasks, essays, or, if necessary, write a test.
