Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student must successfully master the following academic disciplines: "Ancient Ukrainian Literature: The Middle Ages", "Ancient Ukrainian Literature: Baroque", "History of Ukrainian Literature of the 19th Century", "History of Ukrainian Literature of the 20th Century".

- to analyze the genre and stylistic and ideological and artistic content of works of art, the work of writers in the context of the current requirements of modern literary studies;

- to apply the acquired professional knowledge in the history of Ukrainian literature, literary studies, comparative studies in modern cultural, social,
informational, educational and scientific-research spaces;
- to possess the latest methods of analyzing literary material.
Course content
The course consolidates and deepens basic knowledge of the history of Ukrainian literature, in particular the genre-style patterns of the development of the historical and literary process in Ukraine. It continues the systematic study of: bright modern literary phenomena in a variety of styles and genres, innovative shifts in the genre-stylistic paradigm of the early 21st century, marked by diffusion, synthesis, search and experimentation; features of the poetics of modern lyrics, drama, short stories, novels, the specifics of their genre-specific and generic-specific diffusions, plot formation, character formation, figurative and expressive means, traces the dynamics of their development.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Types of work: answers to seminar classes, participation in discussions; creative task, presentation of the results of independent work in the form of reports, reports, presentations; final test.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system.
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire academic course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work and for independent work (preparation of a project presentation).
During the semester, assessment is carried out in accordance with the types of work and forms of control described in clause 7.1. The credit is issued based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment measures. Students who have scored a minimum of 60 positive points receive "passed". Students who have not scored a minimum of 60 positive points receive "failed". Students who have scored less than 60 points in total during the semester must complete the material on the topics for which the debt has arisen.
