Procedures for recognition of prior learning outcomes are determined in accordance with the "Regulations on the organization of the educational process at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv" and the "Regulations on the procedure for re-enrollment in the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv".
Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements
Based on the selection of disciplines of the student's free choice and professional mastery of the competencies of the blocks with grades not lower than 75 points; completion of all types of practices, with grades not lower than 75 points; obtaining a score of at least 75 points for the qualifying exam; defense of a master's thesis with a grade of not less than 75 points.
Programme learning outcomes
1. Analyze the features of natural and anthropogenic systems and objects of the Earth's geosphere (PR01). 2. Apply your knowledge to identify and solve problematic issues and make informed decisions in Earth sciences (PR02). 3. To be able to communicate with specialists and experts of various levels in other fields of knowledge, including in the international context, in the global information environment (PR03). 4. Develop, manage and manage projects in Earth sciences, evaluate and ensure the quality of work (PR04). 5. Plan and carry out scientific experiments, write scientific papers by specialty (PR05). 6. To be able to carry out environmental assessment, audit, licensing, certification of the use of natural resources, forecast the development of ecological, technological, economic and social consequences at individual objects of nature use (PR06). 7. To know modern methods of research of the Earth and its geospheres and to be able to apply them in production and research activities (PR07). 8. Know the basic principles of management of enterprises in the field of nature management, their organization, production and organizational structure of management (PR08). 9. Examination regulations and grading scale
The final assessment of study results at the University is carried out on a single 100-point scale. The assessment of the student of education corresponds to the ratio established during the assessment of the level of formation of professional and general competences to the planned learning outcomes (in percentages). The minimum positive evaluation level is 60 points. According to the results of exams, according to the results of coursework and diploma works (projects); based on the results of practical work, the student is awarded points according to the following scale:"Excellent" 90 - 100%; "Good" 75 - 89%; "Satisfactory" 60 - 74%; "Not satisfactory" 0 - 59%. If there is no final exam for the subjects, the results of the applicant's work are evaluated according to the scale: "Passed" 60 - 100% or "Not passed" 0 - 59%.

Jobs: at enterprises functionally subordinated to the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre, privately owned enterprises that have a State Geocadastre license; in the bodies of executive power at different territorial levels, design-research and research institutes. Graduates can apply for the positions of: cartographer (specialist, researcher), editor (specialist), a specialist in the operation of geographic information systems and their management, a specialist in the processing of digital cartographic and aerospace materials and others in accordance with the company's staff list. Graduates can also apply for the positions of teachers (assistants) in specialized institutions of higher education.
