Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course consists of two content modules. The first is devoted to general issues of the emergence and development of a new direction in science, connections and differences with geoinformatics; processes of integration of various sciences and the structure of geomatics. Types of geoimages, their features, classifications are considered.
In the second module, the essence of a single system of geoimages and types of reality modeling is revealed using the construction of various types of geoimages. The methods of construction and application of various types of geoimages and prospects for the development of the scientific direction are outlined.
Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of practical, independent, modular control tasks and assessment. The specific weight of learning results in the final assessment, provided that it is mastered at the appropriate level, is as follows:
semester evaluation:
1. Modular control work 1: 10 points.
2. Modular control work 2: 10 points.
3. Practical works: 30 points.
4. Independent work: 10 points.
- final evaluation: in the form of an exam
The final grade from the educational component, the final form of control for which credit is established, is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assessed learning outcomes of 60 points and credit of 40 points. Scores below the minimum threshold level are not added to the final score.
