Possession of a bachelor's degree in earth sciences; geodesy and land management; geography; successful study of mandatory professional-oriented disciplines of the curriculum of the first and second semester of the second level of higher education.

To give students professional knowledge of the theory and methods of creating nautical charts.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The program of the academic discipline consists of the following content modules: 1. "Theoretical foundations of creating nautical charts"; 2. "Generalization and peculiarities of making nautical charts".
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms and organization of assessment: current (semester) assessment (practical assignments (minimum grade 8, maximum 20; control papers (6 - 10); independent work (1 - 5)); final (final) assessment in the form of credit (assessment for knowledge theory (minimum 12, maximum 20 points); assessment for the practical part (13-20)). For students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 35 points, for admission to the final control form, it is necessary to pass an additionally completed individual complex task.
