Programme learning outcomes
PLR 1. Evaluate own educational and scientific-professional activities, build and implement an effective strategy for self-development and professional self-improvement.
PLR 2. Confident knowledge of state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present the results of research in state and foreign languages.
PLR 3. Apply modern methods and technologies, including information, for the successful and effective implementation of professional activities and ensure the quality of research in the field of Chinese philology.
PLR 4. Assess and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and suggest ways to solve them in difficult and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting.
PLR 5. Find optimal ways of effective interaction in the professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels.
PLR 6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of speech and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and the organization of successful communication.
PLR 7. Analyze, compare and classify different areas and schools in linguistics.
PLR 8. Evaluate historical achievements and the latest achievements of literary criticism.
PLR 9. Describe the theoretical principles (concepts, categories, principles, basic ideas, etc.) and applied aspects of Chinese philology.
PLR 10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization).
PLR 11. To carry out the scientific analysis of language, speech and literary material, to interpret and structure it taking into account expedient methodological principles, to formulate generalizations on the basis of independently processed data.

Examination regulations and grading scale
The final assessment of learning results in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is carried out on a single 100-point scale.Examination scale for the exam: Excellent 90-100; Good 75-89; Satisfactory / Satisfactory 60-74; Unsatisfactory / Fail 0-59. During the exam, the student receives a final score, which consists of the sum of points for the semester (maximum 60, recommended for a positive grade of at least 36) and points for the exam (maximum 40, minimum for the exam 24).Examination scale for the credit: Passed 60-100; Not credited / Fail 0-59. The test is based on the results of the semester and does not provide additional forms of control for successful students. In the intermediate control, the semester number of points is formed by the points obtained for classroom and independent work (max. 100 points).To maintain academic integrity, participants in the educational process are guided by the norms of the "Code of Ethics of the University Community".
