Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Confidently possess state and foreign languages ​​for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in national and foreign languages. PLO 6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech technique to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic and literary facts, interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres in the field of Indonesian philology. PLO 14. Create, analyze and edit texts of various styles and genres. PLO 20. Apply the acquired knowledge, developed skills and translation skills to perform oral and written translation activities of texts of various genres and styles from Indonesia and English to Ukrainian and vice versa.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: • functional styles and genres of English speech; • basics of speech genres of business discourse; • peculiarities of the use of linguistic means in English business speech; • basic theories of translation and their criticism: • basic strategies and techniques of translation. 2. Be able to: • Perceive, select, critically interpret and interpret information from English-language sources to solve educational and professional tasks; • correctly use language tools/terminology in English oral and written speech; • decode the speaker's intentions by analyzing communicative strategies in oral and written speech; professionally use linguistic terms to explain the analyzed phenomena; • analyze, create and edit English-language texts of various genres; • translate texts of business discourse into Ukrainian. 3. Possess elementary skills: recognize rhetorical strategies and correlate them with the communicative purpose of the text.
