Attestation is conducted in the form of a qualifying exam in the history and theory of culture and public defense of qualifying work, and ends with the issuance of a standard document on awarding a bachelor's degree with a bachelor's degree: Bachelor of Cultural Studies.
Programme learning outcomes
1. To have the skills of critical thinking, to present their own thoughts in a clear way, to make their arguments. 2. To analyze, comment and summarize scientific and analytical texts of culturological format. 3. To create logically and structurally organized texts on cultural studies, according to the specialization. 4. To know and understand theoretical approaches to definition of culture, its manifestations and forms of existence. 5. To collect, organize and analyze information on cultural phenomena, events, historical and cultural processes. 6. To identify, verify and summarize information on various contexts of cultural practice, to determine the degree of their relevance using different sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies. 7. To understand the factors of cultural dynamics, the principles of periodization of cultural processes, their specific features and characteristics. 8. To interpret cultural sources (material, printed, visual, artistic) using special literature and certain methods, tо reasonably present conclusions regarding their content. 9. To analyze the effectiveness of cultural policies, technologies for the realization of cultural ideas in the context of specific parameters of their implementation. 10. To recognize and classify different types of cultural products, to determine their qualitative characteristics based on comprehensive analysis. 11. To carry out expert assessment of cultural objects according to the criteria set and to provide recommendations for their social actualization. 12. To substantiate, develop and implement cultural events and projects in compliance with the law according to the defined goals and objectives. 13. To present knowledge about culture according to the specialization of representatives of various professional groups and students. 14. To conduct a public discussion and maintain a dialogue on Ukrainian culture with professionals and non-specialists. 15. To communicate freely on professional issues orally and in writing in the official and foreign languages, taking into account the purpose of communication and social and cultural features of its context. 16. To define, formulate and argue their own civic and professional position on topical social issues.
