Learning outcomes
5. To collect, organize and analyze information on cultural phenomena, events, historical and cultural processes. 7. To understand the factors of cultural dynamics, the principles of periodization of cultural processes, their specific features and characteristics. 8. To interpret cultural sources (material, printed, visual, artistic) using special literature and certain methods, tо reasonably present conclusions regarding their content. 11. To carry out expert assessment of cultural objects according to the criteria set and to provide recommendations for their social actualization. 13. To present knowledge about culture according to the specialization of representatives of various professional groups and students.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; basic research methods. 2. To be able to collect and interpret information about phenomena and events culture, the role of art in the context of culture, the specifics of art processes; identify modern trends in the development of artistic phenomena; 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and management information; critical attitude and forecasting regarding cultural and artistic events and phenomena; use of foreign language specialists cultural and artistic informative sources

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral report, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: 42 / 70 points 2. Self-study ( research of a work of art): 6 / 10 points 3. Control work: 12 / 20 points All types of work in the semester have summary: in the maximum dimension 100 points x 0.6 = 60 points in the minimum measure 60 points x 0.6 = 36 points Final evaluation in the form of an exam: Written exam - 24 / 40 points Examination evaluation takes place in written form. The ticket consists of 2 questions, each of which is evaluated on a scale of 20 points, which gives a total of 40 points for the exam.
