5. To collect, organize and analyze information on cultural phenomena, events, historical and cultural processes. 7. To understand the factors of cultural dynamics, the principles of periodization of cultural processes, their specific features and characteristics. 14. To conduct a public discussion and maintain a dialogue on Ukrainian culture with professionals and non-specialists. 16. To define, formulate and argue their own civic and professional position on topical social issues.

1. Know: the most important facts, events and processes of the historical past of Ukrainian history state 2. Be able to: determine the main historical periods of Ukrainian state formation. 3. Possess: elementary skills of source criticism, historical analysis, establishing causal relationships
Course content
The assimilation of the history of Ukrainian statehood in a certain system is intended to be given to the young specialist thorough scientific knowledge about the main stages of national state formation, glorious and tragic pages of the past and present of our Motherland, contribute to the formation a sense of patriotism and national consciousness, high culture, moral values, skills and abilities to conduct scientific discussions on issues of the history of the Ukrainian state. It is determined subject, tasks, theoretical foundations, methodologies, main directions and issues of the course. All stages of the history of national state formation are considered sequentially.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Control work on topics Ch1: 10 points/6 points*. 2. Control work on topics Ch2: 10 points/6 points. 3. Creative work on topics Ch 1: 14 points/9 points. 4. Creative work on topics Part 2: 14 points /9 points. 5. Assessment of work during seminar classes Part 1: 16 points/9 points. 6. Assessment of work during seminar classes Part 2: 16 points/9 points. 7. Final control work (credit): 20 points / 12 points The assessment of the success of students' knowledge is carried out during the semester assessment (seminar classes, test papers, creative works) and final assessment (final control work (extended answers) (credit)). The total amount of points is 100 points (of which, the semester assessment is a maximum of 60 points; final assessment (credit) - a maximum of 40 points).
