            2. Analyze, comment, summarize, scientific and analytical texts of cultural nature.
4. To know and understand theoretical approaches to the definition of culture, its manifestations and forms of existence.
6. Identify, verify and summarize information about various contexts of cultural practice, determine the degree of their relevance using relevant sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies.
7. Understand the factors of cultural dynamics, the principles of periodization of cultural processes, their specific features and characteristics.
8. Interpret cultural sources (material, printed, visual, artistic) using special literature and certain methods, reasonably present conclusions about their content.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            1.Before studying this course, students must know the basic stages and characteristics of the
historical and cultural process; basic historical and philosophical theories, including methods of
philosophy of culture, theory and history of culture; basic philosophical concepts and categories ;
2. Students must be able to collect and interpret information on cultural phenomena and
phenomena, cultural processes and events; apply the basic terms, categories and classifications of
philosophical knowledge in the analysis of socio-cultural phenomena and processes; identify
current trends in art culture, predict the prospects for their development, taking into account the
peculiarities of cultural processes in the context of globalization;
3. Students must have basic skills in research and information management; critical attitude and
forecasting in relation to political, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; use of foreign
professional philosophical information sources.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            Part 1. Aesthetic. Its essence and basic forms. Aesthetic consciousness and its structure. Nature and
development of aesthetic categories The process of artistic creativity. The structure of the creative
process. Aesthetic perception of a work of art Specificity of art Aesthetic culture and aesthetic
education. Part 2. Historical dynamics of aesthetic theory and artistic practice. Aesthetics of the
Ancient East. Symbolic art form. Ancient aesthetics. Classical art form. The ideal principle of the
spectacle. Mimesis as a basic concept of ancient aesthetics. General characteristics of the aesthetics
of the Middle Ages. Aesthetics of the Renaissance and the time of the "picture of the world".
Expression as a basic concept of modern aesthetics. General characteristics of the aesthetics of the
Enlightenment. Romantic art form. Aesthetic theory of Kant. Sign as a basic concept of aesthetic
theory of modernism. Aesthetic theories and practices of postmodernism.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            1. Oral presentation, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: - 45/75 points
2. Self-study test in writing: - 15 /25 балів.
Final assessment in the form of an exam. Examination assessment is in writing. The ticket consists
of 2 questions, each of which is evaluated on a scale of 20 whites, which gives a total of 40 points
for the exam. A student is not allowed to take the exam if he / she scored less than 20 points during
the semester. To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the exam can not be
less than 24 points.
