Complete the curriculum with grades of at least 60 points. Passing the assistant pedagogical practice with a grade of at least 60 points. Attestation is carried out by passing a comprehensive final exam in the specialty 054 Sociology and public defense of the results of SRW presented in the form of a doctoral dissertation. The final certification ends with the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of social and behavioral sciences in the specialty 054 Sociology.
Programme learning outcomes
PRN1. Have advanced conceptual and methodological knowledge in sociology and at the border of subject areas, as well as research skills sufficient to conduct scientific and applied research at the level of the latest world achievements in the relevant field, and to obtain new knowledge in the field of sociology and/or implement innovations. PRN2. Freely present and discuss with specialists and non-specialists the results of research, scientific and applied problems of sociology in national and foreign languages, publish the results of research in leading scientific publications. PRN3. Develop and implement scientific and/or applied projects that provide an opportunity to rethink existing and create new integral knowledge and/or professional practice and to solve significant scientific and technological problems of sociology, taking into account ethical, social, economic and legal aspects. PRN4. Formulate and test hypotheses; use for substantiation of conclusions, appropriate evidence, in particular the results of empirical research and theoretical analysis of social systems and processes, available sociological data. PRN5. Plan and carry out empirical and/or theoretical research in sociology and related interdisciplinary areas using modern tools and observing the norms of professional and academic ethics. PRN6. Critically analyze and summarize the results of one's own research and the work of other researchers in the context of the entire complex of modern knowledge regarding the researched scientific problem. PRN7. Apply modern tools and technologies for searching, processing and analyzing information, in particular, statistical methods of analyzing data of a large volume and/or complex structure, specialized databases and information systems. PRN8. To develop and teach special disciplines in sociology in institutions of higher education, to provide educational and methodological support for the educational process. PRN9. Deeply understand the general principles and methods of socio-behavioral sciences, as well as the methodology of scientific research, apply them in one's own research in the field of sociology and in teaching practice.
