Learning outcomes
1.1 Principles of organization of scientific and pedagogical work of the department, forms and methods of teaching sociological disciplines at the Faculty of Sociology.
2.1 To systematize and prepare lecture material using the latest achievements in a particular field of sociological knowledge.
2.2 To be creative in teaching and methodological work, taking into account the achievements of the methodology of teaching sociology in universities, sociology of education and psychological and pedagogical recommendations.
2.3. To evaluate critically the classes of their colleagues, reflect on their own experience and draw conclusions about the organization of teaching work based on them.conclusions about the organization of teaching work.
3. Consistently with the general educational process at the faculty, clearly, accessible, logically and consistently to teach educational material, to manage the student audience.
4. Formation of the need for self-improvement, professional development.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basic methodological techniques, achievements of world and national teaching and learning of sociology.
2. To know the content of the basic didactic and pedagogical principles and the specifics of their use in
teaching at the university.
3. To have basic knowledge of methods in teaching sociology.
Course content
Academic activities: planning own teaching activities, preparing for classes; developing methods of conducting classes; conducting various types of classes according to the schedule; checking written student papers and projects; conducting consultations for students; preparing and conducting one extracurricular event on the subject being taught.
Methodological activity: familiarization with the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in the university; familiarization with the content of education in the specialty of sociology; participation in department meetings; preparation of the working curriculum of the course to be taught; attendance and analysis of classes of other graduate students and faculty members.
Research activity: performing individual research tasks to prepare their own dissertation research, presenting and discussing individual results in the student audience, implementing methodological developments during pedagogical practice and preparing a report.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Attendance at lectures, seminars and consultations conducted by department heads, preparation of teaching materials for lectures and seminars, preparation of work of the curriculum for the course.
Assessment methods and criteria
Academic activities - attending lectures, seminars, consultations conducted by the department's teachers, participation in department meetings; studying theoretical materials for the preparation and conduct of classes; conducting lectures and seminars on the course being taught; reviewing student papers and projects: 35 points (minimum score - 21).
Methodological and research activities - familiarization with the organization of scientific and pedagogical work of the department; attending lectures and seminars of postgraduate students, performing individual methodological research tasks, participating in methodological seminars, developing a working curriculum for the course being taught: 55 points (minimum score - 33).
Final evaluation - submission of a report and defense of the results of the internship at a meeting of the department - 10 points. The minimum score for successful completion (obtaining an overall positive grade) of the defense is 6 points.
