International Law Scholar 1. Pre-diploma internship (field practice) 75 points or higher, 2. The GPA of specialized subjects, selected from the plan of study with respect to allsubjects listed in the plan of study 75 points or higher, 3. Comprehensive qualification examination on the academic programme and a Master’s Thesis defence 75 points or higher. Translator 1. Prior qualification “Specialist in translation” 2. The Qualifying exam in theory and practice of translation 75 points or higher.
Programme learning outcomes
PLO 1. Demonstrate knowledge and skills on ways and methods of solving specific legal and economic problems at both the international level, including European and national; on a thorough analysisof legal concepts and business schemes, production of new ideas and approaches to solving practical problems in the field of professional activity PLO 2. Make informed decisions in the lawmaking and law-enforcement spheres of legal activity, being aware of their legal and economic consequences for various subjects both at the international level, in particular European and national law PLO 3. Demonstrate leadership skills in scientific and applied analysis of international law and EU law, be able to take responsibility for results, motivate colleagues and manage the work of subordinates to achieve goals PLO 4. Understand the international legal situation, in particular at the EU level, use various sources of information, including foreign, in particular with the help of the latest information and communication technologies, to clarify the circumstances and facts, provide international legal assessment of events in the field of international relations PLO 5. Demonstrate communication skills with representatives of other professions and other fields of knowledge and types of economic and legal activities at thenational and international levels, as well as the ability to work with EU experts PLO 6. Apply the acquired knowledge and skills in international, in particular European law and international relations to solve practical problems PLO 7. Carry out professional representation of individuals and legal entities and government agencies in foreign countries, in institutions and bodies of the European Union, bilateral bodies of international organizations, at international conferences; analyze political, economic and other risks associated with events of an international legal nature; analyze information on the state of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and compile analytical reports and reports with reference to the norms of international and national law PLO 8. Analyze and implement in practice the mechanism of implementation of acts of law of the European Union,international intergovernmental organizations and integration associations in the national legal system PLO 9. To determine the content and legal nature of national regulations, international treaties and agreements, to identify conflicts between the norms of international treaties, EU law and national legislation, as well as to propose specific ways to resolve them PLO 10. Identify trends and patterns in the events and facts of international legal relations, in particular between Ukraine and the EU, analyze them, identify related opportunities and risks PLO 11. Understand the mechanism and consequences of the implementation of international agreements, in particular between Ukraine and the EU, acts of international intergovernmental organizations, decisions of international courts in the national legal order PLO 12. To prepare drafts of international treaties and acts of national legislation, to demonstrate the ability to eliminate contradictions between various normative documents, to fill gaps in the mechanism of international legal regulation, to make proposals to bring the norms of domestic legislation in line with European law PLO 13. Realize the need for lifelong learning and improving their professional skills PLO 14. Demonstrate skills and abilities of written and oral communication in foreign languages, professionally use legal terminology

Examination regulations and grading scale
Written and oral exams, credits, differentiated credits, current control, module control works, essays, case-studies, presentations, other types of participation in seminars and individual work, report and defending it after the field practice; defending master thesis etc. A 100-point scale is used for final evaluation (including up to 40 points at the exam if it is envisaged), 60% is the minimum threshold to pass a course.
