Programme learning outcomes
1. Know and understand modern physics at a level sufficient for solving complex specialized problems and practical problems of applied physics and applied economics. 2. Apply effective technologies, tools and methods of experimental research of the properties of substances and materials, including nanomaterials, when solving practical problems of applied physics, calculation methods when solving economic problems. 3. Search for the necessary scientific and technical information in the scientific literature, electronic databases, other sources, evaluate the reliability and relevance of the information. 4. Be able to apply foreign terminology to the extent sufficient for professional activity. 5. Apply modern mathematical methods for building and analyzing mathematical models of physical processes. 6. Know the goals of sustainable development and the possibilities of one's professional sphere to achieve them, including in Ukraine. 7. Apply physical, mathematical and computer models for the study of physical phenomena, economic processes, development of devices and science-intensive technologies. 8. Understand the patterns of development of applied physics, its place in the development of engineering, technology and society, including in solving environmental problems. 9. Choose effective methods and instrumental means of conducting research in the field of applied physics. 10. Communicate freely on professional matters in the national and English languages orally and in writing. 11. Plan and organize effective professional activities individually and as a team member in the development and implementation of scientific and applied projects. 12. Classify, analyze and interpret scientific and technical information in the field of applied physics. 13. Present the results of research and development to specialists and non-specialists, argue their own position. 14. Assess financial, material and other costs associated with the implementation of projects in the field of applied physics, social, environmental and other potential consequences of project implementation. 15. Be able to analyze data, make generalizations and independent conclusions regarding the obtained scientific and practical results in oral and written form.
