The student must know the main theoretical provisions and key concepts of economic theory and modern directions of its development; principles and laws functioning of the market economy; principles and laws of functioning of the market economy; understand the main problems of economic theory; to possess the categorical apparatus of economic theory, basic models and methods of analysis of economic phenomena and processes; to be able to use economic research methods; this interpret the economy.

Study of the initial discipline "Economic Theory" aims to study the general foundations of economic development, patterns of formation and the development of the economic system and the dialectic of the relationship of its structural elements; clarification the mechanism of action of economic laws and the mechanism of their use by people in the economy activities; the formation of fluency in the categorical apparatus, the ability to apply it obtained theoretical knowledge for the analysis of specific economic situations.

- semester evaluation: 60 points maximum / 36 points minimum; - final evaluation in the form of an exam: 40 points maximum/ 24 points minimum. The final assessment of the educational component as a whole, the final form of control by which the exam is set, is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully evaluated study results during the semester (grades below the minimum threshold level to the final grade is not added) and the grade obtained during the exam
