Assessment includes midterm evaluations (quizzes, tests, individual assignments, etc.) and final evaluations (written and oral exams, module tests, final exams; quizzes, differentiated quizzes; defense of a practicum report) and final certification of students (qualifying exam, defense of a qualification master’s work - a master’s thesis). The final evaluation of learning outcomes is carried out on a single 100-point scale. The assessment of the student corresponds to the ratio established of the level of general and special (professional) to the planned learning outcomes. The minimum positive grade level is 60 points. According to the results of the exams, according to the results of work in practices and according to the results of the master’s thesis, the student is also awarded a grade on a 4-point scale: "Excellent", "Good", "Satisfactory", "Unsatisfactory".

Under the EU’s Erasmus+ program, through bilateral agreements between Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and higher education institutions in partner countries, students have the opportunity to qualify for a period of credit mobility (an academic semester or year) through an open competition.

The educational program involves two types of practice: educational (clinical) in the 1st year and industrial (research) in the 2nd year. Educational (clinical) practice is carried out based on social rehabilitation organizations, institutions, institutions of state and non-state forms of ownership, which: - carry out activities related to the rehabilitation of clients of social work, provision of psychosocial assistance and support services, other services in the social protection system related to the promotion of recovery and social integration of persons (rehabilitation centers, social services, probation services, health care institutions, educational, cultural institutions, etc.);

Employment in one’s field of expertise in the areas of public administration, national security, law enforcement, as well as in institutions, agencies, enterprises, and organizations involved in social protection and the provision of social services, education, healthcare, and culture—whether state-owned or municipally owned— in public organizations, charitable foundations, commercial organizations, etc., in positions as professionals, managers (administrators) in the social sector, and heads of enterprises, institutions, and organizations. Professions and typical positions corresponding to the educational qualifications of graduates: social worker, social educator, social work specialist, social manager, career counselor, vocational rehabilitation engineer, labor market analyst, child welfare inspector, youth specialist (youth worker), methodologist for educational and methodological work in social service provision, specialist at social service institutions, department head (social services), director of a regional social services center (educational and methodological work), director of a social services facility (institution), director of a rehabilitation facility (center) for people with disabilities, higher education teacher, etc.).

Graduates may continue their education by enrolling in a third-cycle academic program (leading to a Ph.D.) and pursuing professional development and additional postgraduate education.
