Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the fundamental theories in the field of social work, the basics of management psychology, sociological interpretations of the concept of “institutionalization” and social institutions, as well as regulatory and legal documents governing the activities of institutions in the social sphere.
Course content
The discipline is designed to form a basic understanding of the essence and specific features of the functioning of social organizations, fostering a systemic and comprehensive vision of organizational forms of modern management and activity in various spheres of social life. The first module is devoted to the study of general approaches to understanding the concept of “social organization” and to existing models that align with the objectives of social capital development. The second module covers the issues of goal-setting and strategic planning in organizations, including the definition of their mission and the principles of their functioning. It reveals the psychological mechanisms of communication and collaboration, as well as the specifics of implementing an inclusive approach in innovative organizations. The third module focuses on helping students understand the specifics of team formation within organizations, acquire knowledge about psychological styles of managerial activity, and explore ways to prevent and resolve conflicts in organizations.

Lecture, seminar, analysis of primary sources, presentation, demonstration of skills, test assignments, case method.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral responses (seminar presentations, participation in discussions and debates, additional contributions): LO 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2 – 10 max / 4 min points. Completion of practical assignments (case study analysis, demonstration of practical skills, educational tests, analysis of primary sources): LO 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2 – 20 max / 12 min points. Module assessment tests (MA1, MA2, MA3): LO 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2 – 30 max / 20 min points. Final assessment: examination. Completion of practical assignments, oral responses, and module assessment tests is mandatory for admission to the examination. The examination is conducted in written form. The maximum number of points for the examination is 40. The maximum number of points that may be earned during the semester is 60, the minimum number required is 36.
