Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements
Certification of graduates of the educational and professional program of the specialty 031-religious studies is carried out in the form of a qualifying exam in religious studies and a public defense of the qualifying work, and ends with the issuance of a document of the established model awarding the recipient of a degree of higher education with the assignment of an educational qualification: Bachelor of Religious Studies.
Programme learning outcomes
The educational program provides 16 program learning outcomes (LPL). During the attestation of higher education applicants, the following program results (PRN) are checked: 1. Communicate freely on professional issues in national and foreign languages orally and in writing, use languages for effective intercultural communication. 2. Effectively work with information from various sources, critically analyze, interpret, classify, and systematize it in order to solve religious problems. 3. To have skills in applying subject knowledge of religious studies in order to analyze current social problems. 4. Organize the process of learning and self-education. 5. Know and apply the basic concepts, theories and methods of religious studies in professional activities. 6. To characterize the main stages of the history of the world's religions, the peculiarities of the historical typology of religious ideas. 7. Collect, analyze, systematize and interpret facts related to the development of religions and denominations, use them to solve complex tasks in specialized areas of professional activity. 8. Critically evaluate and analyze information from various sources on religious issues. 9. Use information technologies to identify modern trends in the coexistence of religions and confessions in the conditions of globalization and intercultural dialogue. 10. Analyze the place of religious studies in the system of humanitarian knowledge and the social role of the religious scholar. 11. Apply religious knowledge and methods of scientific study of religion for practical solutions to modern socio-cultural problems (ensuring human rights to freedom of religion, interreligious relations, interreligious dialogue, state-church relations, believers and non-believers, religious education, medical and environmental problems, etc.). 12. To present one's own point of view in open discussions on religious issues. 13. Analyze religious texts using knowledge of one of the ancient languages.

Work placement
Industrial practice by profession in the 3rd year. Industrial practice by profession is a mandatory component of the educational program. Practical training takes place separately from theoretical training on the basis of the Faculty of Philosophy.
Work-based learning
Student-centered learning, self-learning, problem-oriented learning, learning through practically-oriented scientific seminars, online learning. During the last year, students write a qualifying paper, which is presented and discussed with the participation of teachers and classmates.
