Attestation of graduates of the educational and scientific program International Communications, specialty 291 "International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies" is carried out in the form of a comprehensive qualifying exam of the International Communications educational program, a qualifying exam "Theory and Practice of Translation" (foreign language) and a public defense of the qualifying master's thesis and ends with the issuance of a document of the established sample.
Programme learning outcomes
PRN1. To know and understand the nature, sources and directions of the evolution of international relations, international politics, the foreign policy of states, the state of theoretical studies of international relations and world politics. PRN2. Critically understand and analyze global processes and their impact on international relations. PRN3. Apply modern scientific approaches, methodologies and methods for researching problems of international relations and foreign policy. PRN4. Analyze and evaluate the problems of international and national security, international and internationalized conflicts, approaches, methods and mechanisms of ensuring security in the international space and in the foreign policy of states. PRN5. To know and understand the nature, forms and methods of implementation of international and intercultural communications. PRN6. Know modern communication technologies and analyze the peculiarities of their use by state and non-state actors of international relations. PRN7. To know and understand the technologies of image formation and reputation of actors of international relations. PRN8. To know and analyze the technologies of information influence and to understand the consequences of their application at the state and international levels. PRN9. Collect, process and analyze information about the state of international relations, world politics and foreign policy of states. PRN10. Identify, assess and forecast political, diplomatic, security, social and other risks in the field of international relations and global development. PRN11. Assess and analyze international and foreign policy problems and situations, propose approaches to solving such problems. PRN12. Prepare analytical reports, reports and other documents on the state of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies. PRN13. Develop and implement applied research projects of international relations, foreign and world politics. PRN14. To carry out professional oral and written translation from/to a foreign language, in particular, on the professional subject of international cooperation, foreign and world politics. PRN15. Formulate modeling tasks, create and research models of objects and processes of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies. PRN16. Plan and carry out research on the problems of international relations, public communications and regional studies using modern scientific methods, collect and analyze the necessary information, argue the conclusions, present the results. PRN17. Assess international events, processes in the field of international cooperation and international security, the state of interaction and conflict in international systems. PRN18. Plan and conduct training sessions in special disciplines, develop their methodical support PRN19. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the use of public relations (PR), public diplomacy, information operations by subjects of international relations. PRN20. Develop communication strategies for various actors of international relations, including in the context of creating a positive image and reputation. PRN21. Communicate freely in national and foreign languages ​​orally and in writing, on professional and scientific issues. PRN22. To participate in professional discussions in the field of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies, to respect opponents and their point of view, to convey information, ideas, problems, solutions and own experience on professional problems to specialists and the general public. PRN23. Demonstrate the ability to further study with a high level of autonomy. PRN24. Evaluate the results of one's own work and be responsible for personal professional development.
