Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements
Attestation is carried out in the form of public defense (demonstration) of qualification work and a comprehensive exam in psychology. Minimum required criteria: level of mastery of compulsory subjects - not less than 75 points; assessment for internship - no less than 75 points; assessment of qualification work and attestation exam - not less than 75 points.
Programme learning outcomes
LO1. To analyze and interpret mental phenomena, identify psychological problems and suggest ways to resolve them. LO2. To understand patterns and tendencies of the development and functioning of mental phenomena in the professional tasks’ context. LO3. To search information from different sources for solving professional tasks including using information and communication technologies. LO4. To elaborate one's professional position, to make independent conclusions based on the results of own research and analysis of publications. LO5. To select and use: valid and reliable psychological research and assessment methods (tests, questionnaires, projective techniques etc.); techniques of psychological help. LO6. To define the research purpose and the tasks, to have skills of collecting empirical data, to follow the research norms. LO7. To consider and critically evaluate the reliability of the results of the psychological research, make valid conclusions. LO8. To present results of own research orally / in writing for the professionals and nonprofessionals. LO9. To propose own solutions of psychological problems in a professional context, to argue own point of view. LO10. To formulate logically own position in comprehensive way, discuss, defend, modify statements according to cultural characteristics of the partner. LO11. To elaborate and implement the consultative plan according to the specificity of the request and individual characteristics of the client, to establish the effectiveness of own actions. LO12. To compile and implement a program of psychoprophylactic, educational activities and psychological help activities in the form of lectures, talks, round tables, games, trainings, etc., in accordance with the requirements of the customer. LO13. To interact, communicate, to be clear, tolerant to people with different cultural, age or gender-specific characteristics. LO14. To demonstrate teamwork and leadership skills in the process of solving professional problems. LO15. To demonstrate a responsible attitude towards professional self-improvement, learning and self-development. LO16. To know, understand and implement ethical principles of psychologist professional activity. LO17. Examination regulations and grading scale
The student's success is assessed by calculating the scores of the semester grade (maximum score - 60 points) and exam scores (maximum score - 40 points). The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student in the final assessment is 100 points. If a student scores less than the critical minimum in the semester assessment, he is given additional creative tasks, the number of which depends on the number of points, which is not enough to achieve the critical minimum - 36 points. The minimum threshold level of the examination mark at which the examination is considered passed may not be less than 24 points. Correspondence scale: Excellent - 90-100, Good - 75-89, Satisfactory - 60-74, Unsatisfactory - 0-59.

Within the framework of the EU Erasmus + program, based on bilateral agreements between Taras Shevchenko National University and higher education institutions of partner countries, students have the opportunity for a period of credit mobility (semester or year) based on the results of an open competition. Work placement
Students are sent for internships following the agreements of the faculty with employers and the student has the right to offer a self-selected base of practice. At the end of the internship, the organization provides a description of the intern, certified by the signatures of the head of the internship (psychologist) and the head of the institution (Base of internship), and the wet seal of the institution. The practice has a differentiated test. Points for internship (current assessment) - 60, for public defense of the internship report - 40.
