Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the theoretical foundations of general psychology, personality psychology and developmental psychology, on which the system of corrective action in each case is based.
2. To be able to select and correctly apply psychodiagnostic tools, conduct a counseling conversation.
3. To know the basics of psychodiagnostics of children and adolescents, basic methods of psychocorrectional work of a psychologist.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills and technologies in the field of modern age-related psychocorrection, to teach them to develop and implement individual and group psychocorrectional programs for children and adolescents with various psychological difficulties.
While studying the course, students form an idea of the role and place of psychocorrection in the practice of providing psychological assistance to children and adolescents, master modern approaches to the organization of psychocorrectional work, psychocorrectional techniques and technologies. Practical classes are devoted to mastering strategies for conducting psycho-correctional work with children who have various difficulties and problems (aggressiveness, trauma, grief, violence, behavioral disorders, etc.)

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral responses (participation in discussions, work in mini-groups during classroom sessions): 40/24 points
2. Completion of tasks for individual work: 20/12 points
3. Preparation and presentation of the project (development of your own psychocorrectional program): 40/24 points.
The final assessment is conducted in the form of credit.
Credit is given based on the results of the student's work during the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100).
Students who, for valid reasons (illness, family circumstances, etc.), documented by relevant applications and certificates, have scored a total of less than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical-calculated minimum of 40 points, pass the test. The test is conducted in the form of an oral survey on the subject of the course and a creative individual task, which are evaluated at 20 points.
