Learning outcomes
LO1. To analyze and interpret mental phenomena, identify psychological problems and suggest ways to resolve them. LO2. To understand patterns and tendencies of the development and functioning of mental phenomena in the professional tasks’ context. LO10. To formulate logically own position in comprehensive way, discuss, defend, modify statements according to cultural characteristics of the partner. LO13. To interact, communicate, to be clear, tolerant to people with different cultural, age or gender-specific characteristics. LO15. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the theoretical foundations of the activity theory in psychology, the English language is desirable. 2. To be able to systematize scientific sources and work with diagnostic tools. 3. To have the basic methods of quantitative research.
Course content
Cognitive ergonomics is a discipline that studies and designs "human-other components of the work system" interfaces (especially software) based on the study of human activity (thinking, memory, perception, etc.), strategies for optimal organization of the internal cognitive space are also considered with the aim of improving work capacity, efficiency and quality of life.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Test: 20/10 points. 2. Creative projects: 40/24 points. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points on a 100-point scale. The form of conduct is written. The minimum threshold level of the exam grade, at which the exam is considered passed, cannot be less than 24 points. Conditions for admission to the exam. A student is not admitted to the exam if he scored less than 36 points during the semester. He is admitted to the exam on the condition that he completes 50% of the practical work provided in the plan.
