Learning outcomes
Know the basic provisions of the theory of conflicts and the theory of negotiations, the basics of conflict analysis, the peculiarities of conflict regulation in international relations, methods of information management and the basics of constructing a communicative space in conflicts, the basics of the negotiation process, the essence, nature and meaning of negotiations in modern society, ways and means of organizing negotiations in international politics. find, analyze and process the necessary information from various sources, make informed decisions within the framework of the academic discipline.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The training program in the discipline "Practice of negotiations and mediation" provides for the study of the laws of the relationship between the conflict and the negotiation process, the basics of the negotiation process, the essence, nature and significance of negotiations in modern society, in international relations. The practical part of the discipline includes the formation of information management skills and the basics of constructing a communicative space in negotiations, the preparation of analytical documents.
Course content
Conflict diagnosis. Meaningful conflict parameters and scenarios. The concept of conflict. Typology of conflicts, basic concepts. The science and art of negotiation. Negotiation process. Stages of the negotiation process. The team is in negotiations. Modern concepts of effective negotiations. Trade negotiations. Partnership negotiations. Distributive and confrontational negotiations. Mediation in the negotiation process. Negotiations as a means of thinking and as a mechanism for conflict resolution. Mediation in negotiations. Concepts, principles and procedures of the mediation process. Types and stages of mediation. World cultures and national styles in the negotiation process.
