Learning outcomes
To know the conceptual and terminological apparatus that characterizes the development of international investment markets and their regulation. To know the forms, factors and trends of investment activity in EU markets. To know strategies, basic operations, methods and instruments of investment activity in the EU markets. To know the features of investment activities in the markets of stocks, bonds, derivatives in EU countries. To know modern methodological approaches to assessing the investment climate and investment attractiveness of investment objects in the markets EU. To know the estimates of the effectiveness of direct and portfolio investment in EU markets. To know the regulatory framework for investment activities in EU markets. To be able to identify trends in international investment activities. To be able to apply methods of analysis of international investment markets.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To be able to analyse the causes and consequences of current trends in international investment.
2. To have basic skills in searching and analysing regulations, analytical materials and statistical sources.
3. To know English or other foreign languages for better opportunities to familiarize yourself with the regulations governing international investment markets and the activities of financial intermediaries.

1. Investment activity and its role in economic development of EU countries.
2. Investment market of EU countries and its mechanism of functioning.
3. Regulation of investment transactions in EU markets.
4. Real investment transactions in the EU markets and their characteristics.
5. Financial investment operations in EU markets and evaluation of their effectiveness.
6. Investment strategies in EU markets and their financial support.
