To know the key concepts and interpret the content of key documents and norms of international human rights law. To know the main trends and patterns of development of international human rights law. To know the features and common patterns of international human rights law at the universal and regional levels. Carry out an in-depth analysis, in particular of comparative law, international law and national human rights law of Ukraine. Be able to determine the content of international obligations of subjects of international human rights law. Be able to analyze international case law and the practice of other international organizations in the exercise of international jurisdiction over human rights, to prepare certificates and recommendations on international human rights law for the state authorities of Ukraine.

1. To know the disciplines: "History of political and legal doctrines", "Introduction to the specialty" International Law "," History of International Law "," Public International Law. Theory Basics 2. Be able to logically justify and express their views on international human rights law; use legal concepts and categories used in the field of international human rights relations; to interpret the normative content and legal nature of the main international legal acts on human rights protection. 3. Analyze human rights situations and identify cases of human rights violations. 4. Possess basic skills of legal analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, elaboration of a significant array of legal material with the provision of their own conclusions and suggestions.

Lectures, seminars

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 20 points), written assignment (up to 20 points), final modular test (up to 20 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam is up to 40 points.
